Numismatic News

See, you opened this up to find out what numismatic means.  Let's just say, Colorado Springs is the headquarters of a whole bunch of weirdo outfits such as:  Bristol Brewing Company (the Beehive is very tasty), the 5th Best Zoo in the USA, Wild Fire Tees, the Broadmoor Resort (founded 1918), Borealis Bikes, and TA DA! The American Numismatic Society - (Coin Collectors!)

I discovered a Texas link...  Harry Bass, yes, of the Texas Basses', who turns out to be a world famous (literally) coin collector.  His family has graciously loaned out his amazing coin collection as an exhibit in the Numismatic Museum.   I learned there's a 'rarity' scale based on how many of a type of coin are still available to collectors.
